[Desktop] This option lets you choose the symbol set that best matches the needs of users printing to the Fiery X3e. Font Source Internal/Softfont [Internal] Specify the font source to be enabled. Font Number 0-999 [0] The font number designates the default font for the Fiery X3e. To determine font numbers, print the internal PCL Font List. The standard fonts are listed in order. The font numbers, however, are not displayed. Save Changes Yes/No [Yes] Select Yes to activate any changes made in PCL Setup; select No to return to the main Setup menu without making any changes. Color Setup options Color Setup allows you to set defaults the Fiery X3e uses to control color output. Mac OS and Windows users who use the printer drivers provided on the User Software CD can override most of these defaults on a job-by-job basis. However, users printing from UNIX or DOS command lines cannot override defaults from their applications. Therefore, you must set defaults in Color Setup. The preferred method for setting color defaults is to use Color Setup, part of the ColorWise Pro Tools. The color options are described in this section for your reference. NOTE: In addition to the defaults described in this section, additional settings are available to Mac OS and Windows users from the printer drivers.
