33-4 Preparing for Fiery X3e Setup WebTools The Fiery X3e supports Internet or intranet access with WebTools from Windows and Mac OS computers. To enable use of WebTools, you must do the following in Setup: • Enable TCP/IP. • Set an IP address, subnet mask, and gateway address for the Fiery X3e. • Enable Web Services. For more information, see Chapter 6. You can set passwords to control access to WebTools features. If you do not specifically set these passwords, all users have access to all WebTools functions (see page 3-3). WebTools include Status, WebLink, WebScan™ WebDownloader, WebSetup, and Installer. Status The Status WebTool provides you with current information on the jobs processing and printing on the Fiery X3e. It is not affected by passwords. For more information, see the Printing Guide.

Preparing for Fiery X3e Setup
WebTools
The Fiery X3e supports Internet or intranet access with WebTools from Windows and
Mac OS computers. To enable use of
