77-11 Shutting down, rebooting, and restarting the Fiery X3e TO SHUT DOWN THE FIERY X3E COPIER 1. Make sure that no jobs are being processed or printed (confirm that the status is Ready). 2. Press the Utility button on the copier Control Panel. 3. In the Touch Panel, press the Controller Detail button. 4. Press the Menu button. 5. Use the down arrow to scroll to Shut Down. 6. Select Shut Down System. 7. After a message is displayed that it is safe to power off the system, turn off the copier and the Fiery X3e, using the main power switches and Fiery Power switches. NOTE: After turning off the copier, wait at least three seconds before turning it back on. TO SHUT DOWN THE FIERY X3E PRINTER 1. From the printer Control Panel, press the Menu key to display the Functions menu. 2. Scroll to display Shut Down and press the Set key. 3. Scroll to display Shut Down System and press the Set key. A message will be displayed when it is safe to power off the system. 4. After a message is displayed that it is safe to power off the system, power off the Fiery X3e using the Fiery X3e power switch. NOTE: If you are recycling power, wait at least ten seconds before powering back on. 5. Power off the print engine using its main power switch.

Use the down arrow to scroll to Shut Down.
6.
Select Shut Down System.
7.
After a message is displayed that it is safe to power off the system, turn off the copier
and the Fiery X3e, using the main power switches and Fiery Power switches.
