44-48 Performing Setup from the Control Panel PCL Setup options PCL Setup allows you to set defaults to control printer output. These defaults can be overridden by the user from within an application, but they determine how a job will be printed in the absence of other information. NOTE: PCL printing is supported for Windows computers only. Mac OS computers must use the PostScript driver. TO ACCESS PCL SETUP OPTIONS 1. In the main Setup menu, choose PCL Setup. 2. Enter the options appropriate to the printing requirements at the site. 3. When you have finished, save changes. In the list of options that follows, default values, where applicable, appear in square brackets. Default Tray Auto/Tray 4, Tray 3, Tray 2, Tray 1 [Auto] Specify the default paper tray. Default Duplex Off/Top/Left [Off] Select Off for simplex (single-sided) printing. Select Top for duplex (double-sided) printing with the back side upside down. Select Left for duplex printing with both sides using the same top edge. Default Copies 1-999 [1] Specify the default number of copies the Fiery X3e will print for PCL jobs.
