Using the Scan Functions 8 8.6.3 Registering Recipient E-Mail Addresses Using LDAP Search You can search for e-mail addresses on the LDAP server, then register the search result as a one-touch key or temporary key on this machine. ✎ Note In order to use this function, e-mail addresses must have already been registered on the LDAP server (LDAP v3.0). Using the LDAP search function To use the LDAP search function, you must enable the LDAP search function from this machine's control panel. Setup procedure 1 On this machine's control panel, press the [Utility] key, touch [Admin. Mode], and then enter the administrator access code. 2 Touch [Admin. Set.], then [LDAP Search] (page 2/4). 3 Touch [Permit], and then touch [Enter]. Setting the LDAP server To use the LDAP function, you must set the LDAP server using either Printer Management Utility or this machine's control panel. Using Printer Management Utility 1 Start up Printer Management Utility. 2 Enter the administrator access code, and log in to Administrator mode. 8-33
