Chapter 5 Chapter 5 Printing a Document The following procedure describes the general steps required for printing from various Windows applications. The steps for printing a document may vary depending on the application program you are using. 1 Start your application you are using to create the document, and open the document you want to print. 2 Select Print from the File menu. G You can see the print dialog box for your application. G The basic print settings you will need are usually selected within this print dialog box. G To take full advantage of the printer features, click the Properties button. For more information about Properties, see 'Using Features in the Printer Driver' on page 5-7.
