Continued Cleaning Paper Jams Tips for Avoiding Paper Jams If jams occur frequently, make sure you are following these tips to avoid jams : G Follow the procedures in 'Loading paper into the Input Tray' on page 2-8 to load paper properly. G Do not overload the Input Tray. Never exceed the maximum capacity of 150 sheets of paper in the tray. G When using the Manual Feeder, feed only one sheet of print media at a time. G Do not remove the Input Tray while the printer is printing. G Flex, fan, and straighten the paper before loading it. G Do not load wrinkled, creased, damp, or highly curled paper.
