Open a web browser from a computer that is connected to the same network as the access point or to the access point directly through an Ethernet cable. For more information, see Log In to the Access Point on page 16. 2. In the address bar, enter the IP address of the access point. A login window opens. 3. Enter the user name and password. The user name is admin. The default password is password. The user name and password are case-sensitive. 4. Select Configuration > Security > Advanced > MAC Authentication. The MAC Authentication page displays and shows a table with MAC address filter profiles. 5. Select the check box for the profile that you want to delete. You can select more than one check box and delete several profiles. 6. Click the Delete Profile button. The profile or profiles are deleted. Enable Rogue AP Detection and Monitor Rogue APs Unidentified access points (APs) that use the SSID of a legitimate network can present a serious security threat. Detecting rogue access points involves scanning the WiFi environment on all available channels, looking for unidentified access points.
