Open a web browser from a computer that is connected to the same network as the access point or to the access point directly through an Ethernet cable. For more information, see Log In to the Access Point on page 16. 2. In the address bar, enter the IP address of the access point. A login window opens. 3. Enter the user name and password. The user name is admin. The default password is password. The user name and password are case-sensitive. 4. Select Configuration > Ensemble > Advanced > Channel Assignment. The Channel Assignment page displays. By default, automatic channel assignment is disabled. 5. Click the Start button. Automatic channel assignment is enabled. The access point detects the channels that the access points in the ensemble are using. 6. To select channels that must remain static, do the following: a. For each channel that must remain static, select the check box in the Assign to Static column. b. Click the Apply button. To manage automatic channel assignment for an ensemble:
1.
Open a web browser from a computer that is connected to the same network as the access point or to
the access point directly through an Ethernet cable.

on page 16.
2.
In the address bar, enter the IP address of the access point.
A login window opens.
3.
Enter the user name and password.
The user name is
admin
. The default password is
password
. The user name and password are
case-sensitive.
4.
Select
Configuration > Ensemble > Advanced > Channel Assignment
.
The Channel Assignment page displays. By default, automatic channel assignment is disabled.
5.
Click the
Start
button.
Automatic channel assignment is enabled.The access point detects the channels that the access points
in the ensemble are using.
6.
To select channels that must remain static, do the following:
a.
For each channel that must remain static, select the check box in the Assign to Static column.
b.
Click the
Apply
button.
The selected channels are not changed during the automatic channel assignment process.
