Dual-Band Wireless AC Access Point WAC720 and WAC730 User Manual • The ensemble names of the APs that are joining are the same. • Ensemble mode is enabled on all APs. Configure Enable Ensemble Mode To configure enable ensemble mode on the access point: 1. Open a web browser from a computer that is connected to the same network as the access point or to the access point directly through an Ethernet cable. For more information, see Log In to the Access Point on page 16. 2. In the address bar, enter the IP address of the access point. A login window opens. 3. Enter the user name and password. The user name is admin. The default password is password. The user name and password are case-sensitive. 4. Select Configuration > Ensemble > Basic > General. 5. In the Ensemble Name field, enter the ensemble name. 6. In the AP Name field, enter a custom name for the access point or use the default name. 7. In the Priority (0 - 255) field, enter the access point's priority in the ensemble. The lowest-numbered AP becomes the master AP. 8. To enable ensemble mode, select the Start radio button. 9. Click the Apply button. Your settings are saved. Manage an Ensemble You can manage an ensemble through the master access point's local browser interface or you can specify a computer with an IP address in the same subnet as the management IP address. Through the master access point or management IP address you can run an ensemble's channel assignment, manage an ensemble's channel assignment settings, manage the firmware upgrade settings, and manage security settings.
