Get started Insert the memory card To save space in the device memory, save data to a memory card. You can also back up information from your device to the memory card. Use only compatible microSD cards approved by Nokia for use with this device. Nokia uses approved industry standards for memory cards, but some brands may not be fully compatible with this device. Incompatible cards may damage the card and the device and corrupt data stored on the card. Keep all memory cards out of the reach of small children. Check the compatibility of a memory card with its manufacturer or provider. A compatible memory card may be included in the sales package. The memory card may be already inserted in the device. If not, do the following: 1. Open the cover of the memory card slot. 2. Insert the memory card in the slot with the contact area first. Ensure the contact area is facing the connectors on the device. 3. Push the card in until it locks into place. 4. Close the cover of the memory card slot. Remove the memory card Important: Do not remove the memory card during an operation when the card is being accessed. Doing so may damage the memory card and the device, and corrupt data stored on the card. 1. Press the power key briefly, and select Remove memory card. 2. Open the cover of the memory card slot. 3.
