3. At the confirmation screen, touch Erase everything. The phone resets to the factory default settings automatically and, when finished, displays the Home screen. SD Card and Phone Storage From this menu you can view the memory allocation for the memory card as well as mount or unmount the SD card. For more information about mounting or unmounting the SD card, see "Memory Card" on page 39 To view the memory allocation for your external SD card: 1. From a Home screen, touch Applications ➔ Settings ➔ SD card and phone storage. Note: Total space and Available space settings cannot be configured. 2. Under SD card: • Total space and Available space display memory usage on an installed memory card. • Touch Unmount SD card to prepare the memory card for safe removal or formatting. For more information, refer to "Unmounting the SD card" on page 40. • Touch Format SD card to erase the memory card and prepare it for use with your device.
