Section 4: Call Functions This section describes how to make or answer a call. It also includes the features and functionality associated with making or answering a call. For more information, refer to "Call Settings" on page 118. Displaying Your Phone Number ᮣ Touch Applications ➔ Settings ➔ About phone ➔ Status. Your phone number is displayed in the Phone number field. Making a Call 1. From a Home screen, touch and use the on-screen keypad to enter the number you want to dial. 2. Touch to make the call. Making an International Call 1. From a Home screen, touch , then touch and hold . The + character appears. 2. Use the on-screen keypad to enter the country code, area code, and phone number. Manual Pause Dialing To manually call a number with pause(s) without storing it in your Contacts list: 1. From a Home screen, touch and use the on-screen keypad to enter the phone number. 2. Press the Menu Key to display the dialer sub-menu. 3. Touch Add 3 sec pause to add a three-second pause. 4. Use the keypad to enter the additional numbers. Tip: You can create pauses longer than three seconds by touching Add 3 sec pause multiple times. 5. Select Add wait to add a wait.
