Layers: Enable or disable a map layer to display. Choose from Traffic, Satellite, Terrain, Buzz, or Latitude. Touch More Layers to choose from My Maps, Bicycling, Wikipedia, or Transit Lines. Compass: Set the map to always display north at the top of the screen or to automatically rotate like a compass, keeping north on the map facing north, and so on. Your device may have to be calibrated the first time you use this feature. Follow the on-screen instructions. Zoom Out: Touch to zoom out and show a larger area in less detail. Zoom In: Touch to zoom in and show a smaller area in more detail. Market Android Market provides access to downloadable applications and games to install on your phone. Android Market also allows you to provide feedback and comments about an application, or flag an application that might be incompatible with your phone. Before using the Android Market you must have a Google Account. For more information, refer to "Gmail" on page 102. 1. From the main Home screen, touch Market . Note: The main Home screen initially contains the Market icon. If you delete it or, if you want to access Messaging from another Home screen, you must touch Applications ➔ Market . 2. Sign in to your Google account. 3. The first time you sign in, the Android Market Terms of Service displays. Touch Accept to continue or Decline to exit. 4. Touch Apps, Games, Books, or Movies to download or purchase applications, games, books, or movies. You can also download updates to existing applications. 5. Follow on the on-screen instructions. 169
