Calculator The calculator provides the basic arithmetic functions: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. The Calculator also provides additional mathematical functions. 1. From a Home screen, touch Applications ➔ Calculator . Note: The Calculator functions similarly in landscape or portrait mode. 2. Enter the first number using the on-screen numeric keys. 3. Enter the operation for your calculation by touching the + (add), - (subtract), × (multiply), or ÷ (divide) key. 4. Enter the next number. 5. To view the result, touch the = (equals) key. 6. Repeat steps 3 through 5 as many times as required. 7. To clear the calculator history, press the Menu Key ➔ Clear history. - or - Touch Delete . 8. Sweep across the screen, to the left, to display additional mathematical functions. - or - Press the Menu Key ➔ Advanced panel. The advanced operators display. Use sin, ln, cos, log, tan, and so on, just as you would on a pocket calculator. 9. Touch and hold the Calculator's display to copy the contents of the display. Paste the copied value in another app. Calendar With the Calendar feature, you can consult the calendar by day, week, or month, create events, and set an alarm to act as a reminder, if necessary.
