18.16 boot application Description The boot application command is used to configure the image file as startup image or backup image. Syntax boot application filename { image1 | image 2 } { startup | backup } [ unitid ] no boot application Parameter image1 | image2 -- Specify the image file to be configured. By default, the image1.bin is the startup image and the image2.bin is the backup image. startup | backup -- Specify the property of the image, either startup image or backup image. unitid -- Specify the unit in the stack whose image file would be configured. If not specified, image files of all the members in the stack will be configured. Command Mode Global Configuration Mode Example Configure the image2.bin as the startup image in all switches in the stack: T1700G-28TQ(config)# boot application filename image2 startup 18.17 remove backup-image Description The remove backup-image command is used to delete the backup-image. Syntax remove backup-image [ unitid ] Parameter unitid -- Specify the member's unit in the stack from which the backup image file would be deleted . If not specified, the backup image files of all the switches in the stack will be deleted. 123
