26.16 spanning-tree max-hops Description The spanning-tree max-hops command is used to configure the maximum number of hops that occur in a specific region before the BPDU is discarded. To return to the default configurations, please use no spanning-tree max-hops command. Syntax spanning-tree max-hops value no spanning-tree max-hops Parameter value -- The maximum number of hops that occur in a specific region before the BPDU is discarded, ranging from 1 to 40 in hop. By default, it is 20. Command Mode Global Configuration Mode Example Configure the max-hops of STP as 30: T1700G-28TQ(config)# spanning-tree max-hops 30 26.17 spanning-tree bpdufilter Description The spanning-tree bpdufilter command is used to enable the BPDU filter function for a port. With the function enabled, the port can be prevented from receiving and sending any BPDU packets. To disable the BPDU filter function, please use no spanning-tree bpdufilter command.
