Web Console continued 3.6 Actions Menu continued 3.6.1.2 Actions > Event Actions > General Actions continued SNMP Trap Actions An SNMP Trap action is an action that will send SNMPv1 traps to selected destinations in the address book when selected events are detected. It is possible to define multiple email actions so that different people are notified when different alarms are detected or if the requirement is notify different people if the triggering event last longer then expected. 3.6.2 Actions > Scheduling To perform actions according to a predefined schedule, select the Actions > Scheduling. By default there is an SNMP Trap action set up to notify all SNMP contacts in the address book after 30 seconds. The delay settings define when the first email should be sent and the number of emails to be sent. If set to 1 the interval time is ignored as it will only send one email, and the interval is the delay between additional emails being sent out. To add an action, click the [+] button to activate a row and enter the appropriate data. To delete an action, click on the action that is to be deleted and then click the [-] button and confirm the deletion and then the [Save] button to commit the changes. SNMP Trap Actions
An SNMP Trap action is an action that will send SNMPv1 traps to selected

3.6.2 Actions > Scheduling
To perform actions according to a predefined schedule, select the
Actions > Scheduling.
To add a scheduled action, click the [+] button on the bottom of the
screen.
You will be prompted to select the Task (action type) and its
start and stop times.
