Do not use acidic or alkaline paper. ■ Use long-grain paper. ■ Use paper with a moisture content of approximately 5%. Choosing acceptable paper We recommend that you test paper 1 (especially special sizes and types of paper) on the machine before purchasing large quantities. For optimum printing, use a recommended type of paper, especially for plain paper and transparencies. About paper
Recommended paper
To get the best print quality, we suggest using
the following paper.
Use paper that is made for plain-paper
copying.
Use paper that is 20 to 24 lb (75 to
90 g/m

).
Use neutral paper. Do not use acidic or
alkaline paper.
Use long-grain paper.
Use paper with a moisture content of
approximately 5%.
Choosing acceptable paper
