Install Accessory Boards in the I/O Baseboard 5. Install each accessory board in the I/O tray as follows: 5a. Press the center of the PCI hold-down latch to disengage it. Then swing it back out of the way. Figure 7-1. PCI Hold-down Latch a. Release the PCI hold-down latch to open the slot. (See Figure 7-1.) The PCI hold-down latch is used to keep the PCI boards in place and to activate the PCI LED display. The PCI LED display indicates if power is applied to the individual slot, or if the slot has a problem, such as a cable is disconnected from the board. 71
