2-34 Removal and Replacement Procedures Power Supply To remove the power supply: 1. Perform the preparation procedures. See page 2-2. 2. Remove the left side access panel. See page 2-8. 3. Remove the processor cage. See page 2-21. 4. (Compaq ProLiant 1600 only) Slide the hot-plug drive cage out slightly –. 5. (Compaq ProLiant 1600 only) Remove the processor baffle by detaching the velcro holding it to the power supply. 6. (Compaq ProLiant 1600 only) Disconnect the power supply cable from the power switch. 7. Disconnect all other power supply cables. 8. Removal and Replacement Procedures
Power Supply
To remove the power supply:
1.
Perform the preparation procedures. See page 2-2.
2.
Remove the left side access panel. See page 2-8.
3.
Remove the processor cage. See page 2-21.
4.
(Compaq ProLiant 1600 only) Slide the hot-plug drive cage out slightly

5.
(Compaq ProLiant 1600 only) Remove the processor baffle by detaching the velcro
holding it to the power supply.
6.
(Compaq ProLiant 1600 only) Disconnect the power supply cable from the power
switch.
7.
Disconnect all other power supply cables.
8.
Remove four T-15 screws securing the power supply to the back of the chassis

9.
Pull the power supply out the side of the chassis
