However, over time the printheads will degrade and after a while will need to be replaced. The error/status messages are designed to keep you informed of the status of your ink supplies. The example below shows a printhead with an error. To find out exactly which printhead has the error, select the printhead icon as shown below. The consumable Error code Ink Color The action message The front-panel display will change to show the current status of all the printheads.
