The maximum character limit is 64. Global configuration mode Use this command to create a standard MAC access list. If ACL is already created, this command puts the switch in the standard MAC access-list configuration mode. Use the no mac access-list standard command to remove the access list. Standard ACLs allow you to filter traffic based on the source MAC address. You can apply named MAC standard ACLs to VLANs and to Layer 2 interfaces.
