DRAFT: BROCADE CONFIDENTIAL spanning-tree hello-time 9 spanning-tree hello-time Synopsis Operands Defaults Command Modes Description Usage Guidelines Examples See Also Configures the hello-time in seconds on the interface. spanning-tree hello-time seconds no spanning-tree hello-time seconds Sets the interval between the hello Bridge Protocol Data Units (BPDUs) sent by the root switch configuration messages. The range of valid values 1-10. The default is 2 seconds. Interface configuration mode Use this command to set the interval time between the BPDUs sent by the root switch. Use the no spanning-tree hello-time command to return to the default setting.This command is only for MSTP. Changing the hello-time affects all spanning-tree instances. The max-age setting must be greater than the hello-time setting.
