2 exec-timeout DRAFT: BROCADE CONFIDENTIAL exec-timeout Synopsis Operands Defaults Command Modes Description Usage Guidelines Examples See Also Sets the interval that the EXEC command interpreter wait for user input. exec-timeout minutes seconds no exec-timeout minutes seconds Specifies the time interval in minutes. The range is 0-35791. Specifies the time interval in seconds. The range is 0-2147483. The default is 10 minutes. Console and VTY (line) configuration mode Use this command to set the interval; the command interpreter waits for user input detected. Use no exec-timeout to disable the wait interval that the command interpreter waits. The exec-timeout command is used to set the time the Telnet session waits for an idle VTY session, before it time outs. An exec-timeout setting of 0 (zero) causes the Telnet session to wait indefinitely.
