To prevent the image from being formed on the photosensitive drum and wasting toner, the multipurpose tray last-paper sensor detects the empty tray before the image-formation process begins. As the last sheet of paper is picked up, the multipurpose tray last-paper detection roller rotates. It does not rotate if two or more sheets are in the tray. The multipurpose tray last-paper sensor detects the ENWW Pickup, feed, and delivery system 167
