Software description Device Polling Use the Device Polling pane to control product polling. Figure 2-53 HP ToolboxFX System Settings folder - Device Polling pane You can turn off Device Polling to reduce network traffic, but doing so also disables some HP ToolboxFX features: pop-up alerts, fax log updates, and scanning by using the Scan To button. Selecting Turn off device polling on the Device Polling folder and then clicking Apply does not turn off HP ToolboxFX, but acts like a master switch to turn off all polling. You can then go back into HP ToolboxFX and turn off individual components such as the Scan To function or some fax functions. ENWW HP ToolboxFX 71
