Sets whether the product should use tone or pulse dialing. Sets whether or not the product should attempt to redial if the line is busy. Sets whether the product should attempt to dial if the recipient fax number does not answer. Sets whether the product should attempt to redial the recipient fax number if a communication error occurs. Specifies a prefix number that must be dialed when sending faxes from the product. Sets whether the product should check for a dial tone before sending a fax. Sets the type of answer mode. The following options are available: ● Automatic: The product automatically answers an incoming call on the configured number of rings. ● TAM: Use this setting when a telephone answering machine is connected to the product. The product does not automatically answer the call. Instead, it waits until it detects the fax tone. ● Fax/Tel: The product answers incoming calls immediately. If it detects the fax tone, it processes the call as a fax. If it does not detect the fax tone, it creates an audible ring to alert you to answer the incoming voice call. ● Manual : You must press the Send Fax button or use an extension phone to make the product answer the incoming call.
