Server Configuration and Utilities Server Asset Text The Server Asset Text menu customizes the server-specific text, including the following: • Set Server Information Text defines reference information for the server, such as Server Name, Server Asset Tag, Server Primary OS, and Other Text. • Set Administrator Information Text defines reference information for the server administrator, such as Admin Name Text, Admin Phone Number Text, Admin Pager Number Text, and Other Text. • Set Service Contact Text defines reference information for the service contact of the server, such as Service Name Text, Service Phone Number Text, Service Pager Number Text, and Other Text. • Serial Number allows you to change the chassis serial number. Advanced Options Menu The Advanced Options menu enables you to configure advanced options of the system. The following selections are available on this menu: • MPS Table Mode is automatically set based on the operating system selected and is used for interrupt routing. By default, this setting is Auto Set Table. • POST Speed Up quickens POST by disabling the extended power-up memory test. By default, this setting is Enabled. • POST F1 Prompt configures the server so that when an error is encountered during the power-up sequence, you must press the F1 key to proceed (Enabled option) or the system pauses 10 seconds before proceeding (Delayed option). The F1 Prompt option can also be Disabled.
