Server Configuration and Utilities • Erase NVRAM/Boot Space Disk enables you to reset the configuration settings to their factory defaults and to erase the boot disk, including the operating system. • Set CPU Corrected is used to indicate that the previously failed processor has been corrected or replaced. • Wake-On LAN enables or disables the WOL feature for all NICs in the server. By default, this setting is Enabled. • NMI Debug Button enables debug functionality when the system has experienced a software lock-up. By default, this setting is Enabled. • Custom POST Message allows you to input a message that can be viewed during POST. • Processor Hyper-Threading allows Intel Hyper-Threading technology to be enabled or disabled. Processor Hyper-Threading delivers two logical processors that can execute multiple tasks simultaneously using shared hardware resources of a single processor. By default, this setting is Enabled. BIOS Serial Console Menu The BIOS Serial Console option allows you to configure the serial port to view POST error messages and run RBSU remotely through a serial connection to the server COM port. The server that you are remotely configuring does not require a keyboard and mouse.
