Otherwise, follow the procedures for correcting problems when an incorrect drive is replaced or a loose cable is detected. The logical drive is operational, but the loss of an additional drive may cause permanent data loss. Action: Replace the failed drive as soon as possible. Logical Drive X Status = Loose Cable Detected... ...SOLUTION: Turn the system off and attempt to reattach any loose connections. If this does not work, replace the cable(s) and connection(s). Description: At power up, the system does not detect a configured physical drive or an external storage unit that was previously detected before the last system shutdown. This event can occur if the user removes one or more drives after the system is powered down or if a loose cable or malfunction prevents the drives from spinning up.
