Stream Transmission to a Non-linear Editing System Playback images on the camera recorder can be stream output during editing using a non-linear editing system. Ⅵ Loading to a Non-linear Editing System in Play Mode 1 Perform the following settings on the camera recorder. A Set the [HD/DV] IEEE1394 terminal mode switch to ADVB. B Set the [INT/EXT] IEEE1394 interface terminal switch to AEXTB. Memo: ● Stream transmission is only possible for DV format images. 2 Connect the IEEE1394 cable. 3 Turn on the power of both the camera recorder and non-linear editing system. 4 Set the camera recorder to Media mode. Press the [CAM/MEDIA] selection button to switch to Media mode. (A Page 7) 7 Start loading to the non-linear editing system. For details, refer to the instruction manual of the non-linear editing system. 8 Loading is complete. After loading is complete, press the [CANCEL] button on the camera recorder to stop playback. Memo: ● Switch the [HD/DV] IEEE1394 terminal mode switch only after turning OFF the power of the camera recorder. ● The operating procedures vary depending on the characteristics and specifications of the connected devices, and transfer of data may fail even when the devices are properly connected. ● If noise appears on the screen or audio sound is interrupted, reconnect the IEEE1394 cable or turn on the power of the camera recorder again. ● Noise may occur in the audio when you turn ON/OFF the power of the device connected to the [IEEE1394] terminal. Before performing any of these operations, lower the volume of the device connected to the camera recorder to the minimum. Insert the media to be dubbed.

Press the play button (center of the cross-shaped
button) on the camera recorder.
Playback starts.

Start loading to the non-linear editing system.
