Copying Functions Selecting Image Quality Select image quality suited to the type of original. The table below shows the quality options. Image quality mode Text + Photo Text Photo Description For originals with both text and photographs. For originals primarily consisting of text. For photos taken with a camera. The procedure for selecting the quality of copies is explained below. 1 Press the Copy key. 2 Place the originals on the platen. 3 Press the image quality mode select key to select the desired mode. 4 Press the Start key to start copying. NOTE: You can adjust the copy exposure in each of the image quality modes. (See Density Adjustment for Text + Photo Originals on page 6-8, Density Adjustment for Text Originals on page 6-8 and Density Adjustment for Photo Originals on page 6-9.)
