Creating an FTP shortcut Set up the SMTP server to send e‑mail from the printer. 1 From the Embedded Web Server, click Settings > E‑mail/FTP Settings > Manage FTP Shortcuts. 2 Configure the settings. • Name-Type the shortcut name. This field contains a maximum of 128 characters. • Server-Type the server address. For multiple servers, use a comma to separate addresses. This field contains a maximum of 128 characters. • Login-Type the user name used to access the FTP server. This field contains a maximum of 64 characters. • Password-Type the password used to access the FTP server. This field contains a maximum of 64 characters. • Path and filename-Type the full file path and name. This field contains a maximum of 64 characters. • Format-Specify the file format for the scanned document. • Content Type-Specify the content type of the original document. • Content Source-Specify how the original document was produced. • Color-Specify whether the printer captures and transmits content in color.
