Understanding helper texts Helper texts are short and concise texts that describe a setting or page, indicate their usage, or provide details on printer behavior when the change is applied. They appear to the right of the setting field, below page or section headers, or at the bottom of the web page. They also provide the user with a range of acceptable data entries. Notes: • When the value of any setting marked with an asterisk (*) or cross (+) is changed, the printer automatically restarts after submitting the change. • For settings marked with a cross, make sure that the printer is in a Ready state before submitting any change.
