Setting the fax holding schedule 1 From the Embedded Web Server, click Settings > Fax Settings > Analog Fax Setup > Holding Faxes > Fax Holding Schedule. 2 Select a device action, and then set the time and day for the device to perform the action. 3 Add the entry. Notes: • Fax printing is enabled by default. • For each Disable schedule entry, create an Enable schedule entry to reactive fax printing. Fax server setup Configuring the fax server e‑mail settings Using the fax server mode routes all outgoing faxes to the fax server through e‑mail. 1 From the Embedded Web Server, click Settings > Fax Settings > Fax Server Setup. 2 From the Fax Server E‑mail Setup section, configure the settings. • To Format-Specify a fax recipient. This field contains a maximum of 128 characters. • Reply Address-Specify a reply address for sending fax. This field contains a maximum of 128 characters. • Subject-Specify the fax subject. This field contains a maximum of 64 characters. • Message-Specify the fax message. This field contains a maximum of 512 characters. • Primary SMTP Gateway-Type the IP address or host name of the primary SMTP server for sending e- mail. • Secondary SMTP Gateway-Type the server IP address or host name of your secondary or backup SMTP server. 3 Click Save.
