C Number of Images That Can Be Saved The following table lists the approximate number of images that can be saved on a 4 GB memory card. Note that due to JPEG compression, the number of images that can be saved varies greatly depending on the composition of the image. In addition, this number varies depending on the make of the memory card, even when the memory cards have the same specified capacity. To confirm the number of images that can be saved in the internal memory (approx. 28 MB), remove the memory card from the camera, and then check the number of remaining exposures displayed in the monitor when shooting. Print sizes are calculated by dividing the number of pixels by printer resolution (dpi) and multiplying by 2.54 cm (1 in.). However, at the same image size, images printed at higher resolutions will be printed smaller than the size indicated, and those printed at lower resolutions will be printed larger than the size indicated.
