Internal Battery Replacement SU3000XLCD Model 1a Remove the screw from the left of the front bezel. 1b Remove the front bezel. 1a 1b 2 Remove the screws that hold the metal battery compartment panel in place (in front of the battery compartment on the bottom). Remove the metal panel from the UPS. 2 3 Remove the batteries using the pull tab, and disconnect the DC connectors from the UPS. Note: Please memorize the original battery position and orientation to ensure that you install the new batteries correctly. 4 Insert the new battery set into the UPS in the same position as the original set. 5 Reconnect the DC connector (red-to-red, black-to-black). 6 Replace the metal battery compartment panel.
