The Functions The Function display lets you set the detailed settings for the instrument, such as fine tuning the pitch, adjusting the volume balance between playback and your performance, effect related settings, and more. A total of 60 items are available. Basic Operation 1 Press the [FUNCTION] button to call up the Function display. 2 Press the CATEGORY [] buttons repeatedly until the function's display name appears in the display. Take a look at the function list starting on page 45. The name of the previous item in the list appears to the upper left, and the name of the next item in the list appears to the upper right of the currently selected item. Function group Previous item Next item Current selected item Parameter 3 Use the dial or the [-/NO] and [+/YES] buttons to set the parameters. The [-/NO] and [+/YES] buttons are used to make ON/ OFF type settings: [+/ YES] = ON, [-/NO] = OFF. Press the [-/NO] and [+/YES] buttons simultaneously to recall the default setting (excepting the initial setup of MIDI). • Decrement value by 1. • OFF • Increment value by 1. • ON Press these simultaneously to recall the default setting. Some Function settings are stored in memory as soon as they are changed.
