Phase (Subwoofer phase) Use this feature to switch the phase of your subwoofers if bass sounds are lacking or unclear. Choice Normal L Reverse R Reverse L&R Reverse Functions Does not change the phase of your subwoofers. Sets the phase of the left (or front) subwoofer to reverse. Graphical user interface (GUI) menu ■ Speaker Distance (Speaker distance) Use this feature to manually adjust the distance of each speaker and the delay applied to the respective channel. Ideally, each speaker should be the same distance from the main listening position. However, this is not possible in most home situations. Thus, a certain amount of delay must be applied to the sound from each speaker so that all sounds will arrive at the listening position at the same time. Use this feature to switch the phase of your subwoofers if bass
sounds are lacking or unclear.
Bass Out (Bass out)
Use this feature to select the speakers that output the LFE (low-
frequency effect) and the low-frequency signals.
THX Ltd. recommends that “Bass Out” to “SWFR”.
