Preparation Connections Using presence speakers The presence speakers supplement the sound from the front and surround back speakers with extra ambient effects produced by the sound field programs (see page 58). Presence speakers function more effectively when the CINEMA DSP HD³ mode is active (see page 64). You can adjust the vertical position of dialogues with using the front presence speakers (see page 91). Note If "Front Presence" is set to "None", the rear presence speakers also do not function and you cannot activate the CINEMA DSP HD³ mode. The presence speakers supplement the sound from the front and surround back speakers with extra ambient effects produced by the sound
field programs (see page 58). Presence speakers function more effectively when the CINEMA DSP HD³ mode is active (see page 64). You
can adjust the vertical position of dialogues with using the front presence speakers (see page 91).
If “Front Presence” is set to “None”, the rear presence speakers also do not function and you cannot activate the CINEMA DSP HD³ mode.
