Status icons The icons in the status bar at the top of the screen give information about iPad: Status icon Wi-Fi Cell signal Airplane Mode LTE 4G 3G EDGE GPRS Do Not Disturb What it means iPad has a Wi-Fi Internet connection. The more bars, the stronger the connection. See Connect to Wi-Fi on page 13. iPad (Wi-Fi + Cellular models) is in range of the cellular network. If there's no signal, "No service" appears. Airplane Mode is on-you can't access the Internet, or use Bluetooth® devices. Non-wireless features are available. See Travel with iPad on page 36. iPad (Wi-Fi + Cellular models) is connected to the Internet over a 4G LTE network. iPad (Wi-Fi + Cellular models) is connected to the Internet over a 4G network. iPad (Wi-Fi + Cellular models) is connected to the Internet over a 3G network. iPad (Wi-Fi + Cellular models) is connected to the Internet over an EDGE network. iPad (Wi-Fi + Cellular models) is connected to the Internet over a GPRS network. Status icons
The icons in the status bar at the top of the screen give information about iPad:

What it means
Wi-Fi
iPad has a Wi-Fi Internet connection. The more bars, the stronger the
