4. Printing Directly from Applications 4-2-4. Settings for Adobe Illustrator z Set either "Brother GT-3" or "Brother GT-3 FileOutput" as the default printer before you go on to the following steps, otherwise, an image may be printed incorrectly. Check the print data by the preview by using "Brother GT-3 FileOutput". z GT-3 is an RGB printer. Make the print data in RGB Color mode to get the best Color accuracy. In CMYK color mode artwork may be printed dark and unclear. Transforming it to RGB ("Document Color Mode" on "File" menu) may improve the result, but black, yellow, and purple cannot be printed accurately. We recommend you edit the artwork or use Color Processing (see "4-3-12. Selecting the Color Processing for increasing the vividness"). Color settings: (1) Select [ Edit ] > [ Color Settings ] menu. The Color Settings window appears. (2) Make Color settings as follows, and then click "OK". GT-3 is an RGB printer. Make the print data in RGB Color mode to get the best Color accuracy. In CMYK color mode

the result, but black, yellow, and purple cannot be printed accurately. We recommend you edit the artwork or use Color

Color settings:

Select [ Edit ] > [ Color Settings ] menu. The Color Settings window appears.

Make Color settings as follows, and then click “OK".
