Using the BJ Background Monitor The BJ Background Monitor allows you to monitor the progress of document print jobs executing in the background. Use the BJ Background Monitor to view print jobs queued for printing, remove them from the queue, or change the order of execution in the queue. Note • You can use the BJ Background Monitor to adjust background printing priorities and to change the directory to store print data files temporarily. • The BJ Background Monitor is available only when Background Printing is checked on in the printer driver Page Layout tab. I Opening the BJ Background Monitor When the Background Printing option on the Page Layout tab is checked, the BJ Background Monitor button will appear automatically in the Windows taskbar when a print job starts.
