Problems and Solutions • Do not load the following type of paper in the Feed Slot. Excessively thin paper (64 g/m2 or less) Excessively thick paper (106 g/m2 or more) Postcards Thick envelopes (use only US Com#10 or European DL) Punched or heavily embossed paper • If the top edge of the sheet is too small or if the sheet is not straight, the printer will beep once and the CHARGE/ERROR light will flash. Pull the sheet out of the manual feed slot and try to insert the sheet straight into the printer with the left edge aligned with the left side of the manual feed slot. When the paper is inserted correctly, it will return slightly and the printer will not beep. Is Auto Feeder selected for the Paper Feed in the printer driver?
