Using the Scanner With Windows 2 You can select these editing options. For details on each feature, use the online Help for IS Scan Plus. Contrast / Brightness Adjusts the brightness and contrast of an image. Image Compensation Softens edges in the image by reducing the contrast between pixels, or sharpens hazy or blurred images. You can also smooth the appearance of the image and invert the image. Edges Enhances the edges in an image by increasing the contrast of the pixels between areas of different colors. Lines Emphasizes selected edges and de-emphasizes all other edges of an image. Pixelize Squares off all the pixels in an image to lower resolution and makes the pixels appear larger to create a mosaic tile effect. Posterize Reduces the number of colors in an image.
