Problems and Solutions The following messages may also be displayed in the BJ Printer Status Monitor. Waste ink absorber full! Call for service! Service error xxx! Call for service! Make sure that the paper is set correctly The orange light will flash and the printer will beep to alert you that the paper has not fed into the printer. If there is no paper in the sheet feeder, then load some paper. If the paper is not straight in the sheet feeder, then straighten it and try again. Check to see if the following message is displayed on the screen Paper Jam! If paper is jammed inside the printer, the printer will beep twice and the orange CHARGE/ ERROR light will flash. Remove the jammed paper and set a new sheet of paper to resume printing. Loading Paper in the Printer Check to see if the BJ cartridge has been removed If the BJ cartridge has been removed during printing, or if the BJ cartridge failed electrically, the printer will beep three times and the orange CHARGE/ERROR light will flash. Re-install the BJ cartridge in the cartridge holder if it has been removed, or install a new BJ cartridge to resume printing. Changing or Replacing a BJ Cartridge Troubleshooting 324
