Custom Function Setting Items C.Fn-5 Release shutter without lens You can specify whether shooting still photos or movies is possible without a lens attached to the camera. 0: Disable 1: Enable C.Fn-6 Retract lens on power off Lens retraction setting for gear-driven EF or EF-S STM lenses (such as EF 40mm f/2.8 STM) attached to the camera. You can specify whether to retract lenses that are extended in use automatically when you turn the camera off. 0: Enable 1: Disable zzRetraction is not activated by auto power off (except for EF-M lenses). zzBefore detaching the lens, make sure that it is retracted. zzWhen [0:Enable] is set, this function takes effect regardless of the lens's focus mode switch setting (AF or MF). 463
