Outgoing This section describes steps to create policies for packets and services from the Internal (LAN) network to the External (WAN) network. Entering the Outgoing window: Click Policy on the left hand side menu bar, and then click Outgoing under it. A window will appear with a table displaying currently defined Outgoing policies. The fields in the Outgoing window are: Source: source network addresses that are specified in the Internal section of Address menu, or all the Internal (LAN) network addresses. Destination: destination network addresses that are specified in the External section of the Address menu, or all the External (WAN) network addresses. Service: specify services provided by external network servers. Action: control actions to permit or reject/deny packets from internal networks to external network travelling through the Firewall. Option: specify the monitoring functions on packets from internal networks to external networks travelling through the Firewall. - 89 -
