Terminal Mode Text Commands (continued) Command SYS IDENTIFY SYS IDENTIFY Switches -ON -OFF Description Causes the BMC to indicate the system's location, for example, with a blinking LED or beep for a specific period of time. XX is an optional hex-ASCII byte representing the number of seconds the BMC is to cause the system to identify itself. If XX is not provided, the BMC will indicate the system's location only for 15 seconds. This is a text version of the optional Chassis Identify command. Causes the BMC to stop indicating the system's location. This has no effect if the system is not currently identifying itself. This is a text version of the optional Chassis Identify command. SYS
IDENTIFY
